This is a party propaganda poster depicting harmony and bountiful food supplies in an agrarian cooperative. This poster would have been designed to encourage peasants to join such schemes. In reality, by 1955 the amount of food available to each peasant in cooperatives was limited by the government and the ideal of reaping the fruits of one's labour, so powerful a concept during land reform, was somewhat undermined.
