This PBS documentary gives a comprehensive overview of the Korean War starting from 10 minutes in and ending at 15 minutes. The filmmakers particularly draw attention to General MacArthur's policy of ordering troops beyond the 38th parallel dividing line which the Chinese took as a threat to their sovereignty. This was one of the reasons that drew them into war.
